Di-ammonium phosphate or DAP is a N and P source that is highly used by industry in the composition of concentrated fertilizer formulations, however, it presents limited compatibility with some raw material, especially urea and nitrate. It can also be used in its pure form, directly in the crop. It is an excellent fertilizer for the corn and wheat crops, since it presents high concentrations of nitrogen (18%) and phosphor *46%). DAP is obtained by the reaction of phosphoric acid with ammonia.
